Senior Photos - Holly

This was one of my favorite shoots this year for senior photos. Holly waited until the leaves were in peak season to give me a call for senior photos, and it turned out beautifully! We went down around the Clear Creek area in Golden to shoot. I loved getting to know Holly, and finding out that she has an interest in photography and going to college for the arts. Go for it girl! Congratulations on graduating and push for that art degree! Good luck!

New Year's Resolution - November

I think that this month's excursion has topped them all. My dad and I had SUCH a great time at Bishop's Castle just outside of Pueblo. Here's a link to their website. http://www.bishopcastle.org/. It was well worth the 3 hour drive from Denver. The entire structure is hand built by one man. It was his dream to own a castle...and he does! The entire structure is amazing from an artistic and engineering point of view. Hence why my dad (Mr. engineer himself) and I fell in love with the place. Every corner you turn around there's something new to photograph. There are hidden stairwells and heights to climb to beyond your imagination. I have many new great memories from this trip and strongly urge anyone to take a Saturday and make the drive to this amazing location. It will not disappoint.

I normally don't include photos of myself and my dad, but this time I had to just to give you a perspective of how high this structure goes. We were standing on the bridge that's on the left of this photo. It literally just drops off and ends to nowhere. The wind was swaying us...made the adrenaline pump for sure! Such a great experience! I'll definitely be going back!

Katie + Dom = Engaged

I fell in love with this couple the moment I met them. I have known Katie for quite a few years, but couldn't believe how happy she was with Dom and I know after photographing them that they're going to live many happy years together. They told me about their whirl-wind romance that blossomed in about a months time and here they are engaged and planning to get married in Georgia. I am so excited for you two and can't wait to see what a beautiful bride you'll be, Katie. Congratulations to you and I only hope that we all can find love like yours in a lifetime!

Soccer

I am so excited to share these photos with you! I've branched out to doing live action sports photography and I've fallen in love with it! These are the moments that I love to capture and that the athletes love to see. These are photos of Hannah and some of her teammates, I can't wait for indoor soccer to start and photograph them there too!

New Year's Resolution - October

For the month of October, my dad and I headed just outside of town to the foothills and ended up in Morrison. I've always loved this little town and how it hasn't ever become over run by the 'city folk'. It's small town charms are everywhere you look. After photos we even got to eat dinner at the always delicious Morrison Inn. I'd highly recommend taking a stroll down main street, stopping in some shops and grabbing a good bite to eat. It makes for a great Saturday. Enjoy!

Senior Photos - Bret

I am so happy to have been able to photograph Bret for his senior photos. I took his sister's photos about 3 years ago, and am happy to still be good friends with their whole family. Along with the rest of his family, Bret is an amazing kid and is going to great things and be very successful. My favorite part about senior photos is getting to know people like this and getting to see them again in a few years and see all that they've accomplished. Congrats on graduating Bret! You'll do great!!

Atchison Family

I am honored this year to not only photograph the lovely Atchison family, but also share a first time look at their first baby boy! They’ve had 5 sweet little girls, and have finally been blessed with a boy! They are an amazing family, and I can’t believe how fast the girls are all growing up. We, once again, had a successful shoot and just missed the rain as we were wrapping up photos. I am excited to continue to see these kids grow up!
