Slater Elementary

I've been working with the 6th grade class at Slater Elementary to create a gift for them to give to the school. All of the kids have been awesome, and I want to thank my Aunt Shanda for asking me to help with this project! As the 6th graders graduate onto 7th grade we were reminded of preschool graduation, and how we made handprints with paint. Just the same as then they stamp your hands and feet as a baby. It thus seemed appropriate to continue the tradition with the hands and... shoes this time. Each child is coming into their own style and personality, such a fun time to be a kid.

Carnival Nights

I love night shots, and with the rain...I got way too excited at this carnival! It was supposed to be a date night, but all the rides were closed because of the lightning. Thankfully I brought my camera along. And the game booths were still open so my wonderful boyfriend won me a stuffed banana! :) Overall, I'm keeping my eye out for the next carnival in town, too much fun to shoot!

 

 

Baby Kolbe

Congrats to Laura and Jon with their little bundle of joy, Kolbe. I loved photographing him. Newborns are so precious and innocent, such sweet things to photograph. I can't wait to photograph him again as he grows up!

Leslie + Gary Engagement

I'm so lucky to get to photograph my uncle's wedding. The engagement shoot with Gary and Leslie was a blast. We hung out at the Highland Bridge in Denver for photos, next to one of their favorite bike shops, Salvagetti's.  http://www.salvagetti.com/. I'm so excited for the wedding in just 9 days. Congrats Uncle Gary, and we can't wait to have you in the family Leslie! 

 

 

 

Jeanna + Nick Engagement

Photographing people is always a joy, but photographing two people completely in love is just that much better. Jeanna and Nick were so much fun to shoot with at Domo's Restaurant. http://www.domorestaurant.com/. We had a beautiful garden to shoot in, and a wonderful dinner afterwards. These two are so twitter-pated over each other I can't help but smile when I see them. Congrats Jeanna and Nick! I can't wait for the wedding in June!

 

 

 

 

 

Anna + Josh Engagement

I had so much fun shooting with Anna & Josh at Heritage Square for their engagement shoot! We took some fun photos at the amusement park, and then headed to do a few more formal photos at a park nearby.   They are such a fun couple and I can't wait for the wedding at the Hudson Gardens. It was an absolute joy to shoot with them!
